The owners of this country cottage wanted to make it lighter and more contemporary without loosing its period charm. We started by exposing the natural beauty of all the beams, replacing the lounge floor with a wide oak boards, updating the hall & stair carpets whilst adding a contemporary wallpaper to brighten and lighten the stairs and landing.
