Our Approach
Our role is to oversee projects including providing and researching design solutions for each room as required. Our service can be tailor made to suit your individual needs such as:
- Assisting you to identify and vet workmen
- Managing the installation & completion of all works
- Managing the budget and the timings of the customers payments directly to the relevant suppliers
How the process typically works:
Firstly, we arrange an initial meeting at your convenience to introduce ourselves and discuss your ideas for your property with no obligation.
Next we get busy on your behalf obtaining various quotes from tradesmen, designers if necessary and researching any furniture or fixtures and fittings.
After which, we then meet to discuss the various options and finalise a plan of action together. However, if for any reason you decide not to progress with your project after the investigation stage there is no obligation to continue and our time spent researching will be billed at a pre-agreed hourly rate.
We will be there every step of the way to manage the process and make sure the work is carried out to your satisfaction.
Throughout the project, we will operate in an open and transparent manner ensuring that you have full visibility of costs and sign off at each stage of the process.
Typical Savings
At Capital to Coast, we use our experience and contacts to negotiate the best possible prices for any work you want completed or furnishings you wish to buy.
Our fee is 12% of the amount spent on the total project (including VAT) which would include the cost of any fittings (lights, radiators etc), work undertaken in the house & garden (decoration, floor replacement etc) and items/fabrics that we source or buy at the clients request.
In terms of expenses, our fee includes mileage to & from the property and any phone calls made on the client’s behalf. If however, any samples are purchased at their request the costs will be added.
We provide a spreadsheet detailing the break down of costs room by room so clients have full visibility of all the costs involved all of the time.
Our aim is to keep your costs to a minimum and hence maximise what you get for your money.
